Help GMail push troubles on Wildfire

I'm having serious issues with emails on my Wildfire. I've set both the HTC mail app and the gmail one to notify me, sync whenever possible etc. but mails take forever to pop up on the phone.

It worked well at first - a few days ago - but now it's just taking ages.

Can someone please walk me through the steps to figuring out whats wrong?

Back on my Nokia 6303 I would get email notifications INSTANTLY, even faster than the gmail notifier on my PC could notify me.

I am experiencing the same thing. Only today has it not been synching properly. Just done a test email to myself. Arrived on gmail on the PC instantly but after 5 mins its still not arrived on the Wildfire. May be a server issue perhaps?

i hope its something like that. I had the same issue yesterday, but I'm pretty sure it worked well the first few days. hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help us out. my first android, so I'm still very much in the learning phase
