Every time I send someone an email using Gmail, for some reason it shoots me back the exact same email to my inbox as if I CC'd myself but I am not. How do I stop this from happening? Another thing I am noticing and I am only noticing this with a particular person. I am getting her emails at odd times of the day. She will email me at say 9pm but for some reason I am getting her emails at 5am. Its really strange and she is the only person I am noticing this with.
 
Sounds like Google/Gmail wiggy behavior to me, not your device or any setting.

The way to check that is to take the trouble to remove data and defaults in the Gmail application in application manager, reboot and re-setup your gmail.
