Help gmail settings - which ones ?

right i used to know how to do this but for some reason i have forgotten .

when i access gmail on my pc and delete all mail they still show up on my nexus gmail app .

i have sync for 30 days enabled on my tablet !

what is the right settings so when i delete mail on either they wont show up on the other one .

It sounds like it's configured with POP3, not IMAP.

Open Gmail on a PC, head to Settings, forwarding and POP/IMAP, turn off POP3, turn on IMAP and turn auto expunge on.

That should sort you out.

Hi Guys, just wondering what happened here. I don't remember changing any settings but when I ask for "Primary Inbox," it always shows the sent box. The good news is that everything is working... when I recv a mail, can hit return and it inserts the correct rtn adrss!
Went to settings and everything looks OK? Any help appreciated. M
