I live in Singapore and have been using a Milestone for about half a year now. I've been trying to solve this problem for a while now: when the phone is set to autosync with my gmail account, I can add new contacts/edit my current contacts from my computer and have the changes updated on my phone contacts.
But when I try to do the same from my phone, after a few seconds the changes are undone, and the contacts revert to the unchanged gmail ones. Gmail is essentially overriding the phone, making this a one-way autosync.
I can work around this by turning off autosync, but I would like to have a two-way autosync set up, which is how it was supposed to work. Hope I can get some advice on the matter!
