Help Gmail Sync Problem on Droid

[andrew.perrong]

Hey. On my Droid original, I was always able to get messages the minute they landed in my inbox. Tonight, I did not get any notifications of new messages. If I go into the gmail app and refresh, there is no problem, the messages appear, but I can not get a notification of new messages. What could be causing this?
