Help Gmail Sync

Ok, I've never expiernced this before and it has continued to occur for the last 6 nightly updates on CM10.1. I DO NOT believe the issue has to do with the ROM.

Gmail says it is fully synced. I can recieve emails as normal but when I delete them it deletes from the phone but not from my gmail account (i still see it online)

I also can not send emails from the gmail app. They say they sent then sit at Sending.. and do not appear in the sent folder from gmail.com

Does anyone have any suggestions. Really annoying.

I have trouble sending emails from gmail too. There was some kind of fix (like canceling, going back, looking in drafts, etc) but it was a pain and I can't remember if it worked.

I think the deleting thing is a setting that you need to change.

Weird I haven't changed any settings and it used to work.

Hmm-I'm not sure then. I couldn't find a setting that seemed to correspond to this. I did a test and deleted an email from my phone and when I logged into gmail, it was in the trash. I did sync gmail before I checked though.

eta: just tested it again. If I delete it from my phone, and don't sync (my gmail is not set to sync at all other than manually) it's still in my inbox on my computer. But once I sync, it's gone from my inbox (on my pc) without my having to delete it again. Apparently it is a sync issue.

This is so odd! I've never experienced this before. I also can not send emails from my phone they just sit at Sending... Getting very frustrated. Can't find any sync settings or anything that corresponds to my problems on Gmail or in the Gmail app.

Ok so for anyone else experiencing this problem, I Force Stopped Gmail, I cleared Data and Cache and Uninstalled updates. After this it loaded my messages back up and I was able to send emails again. Hope this helps someone else out.
