Help Gmail update

I got a message that there is an update for Gmail, but it does not show when i sync appbrain, as an update available, but it shows in the market as a new app, and not one already installed. Is this update necessary, or worth it?

Not necessary, and if its worth it is a matter of opinion, doesn't add a whole lot of features, but it takes a matter of seconds to install so why not?

Install it as a new app, it will write over the other one.

Yes, you should get it. There was a pretty major security flaw that this update fixes.

ETA - You won't lose anything.

Is anyone else not seeing the floating reply button, etc. anymore after this update? Did they remove it?
