Help Gmail

Hey All,

The last few days my gmail app has stopped working. I have the app icon and everything and keeps staying cant read application or this app is not installed. I have started using K9 mail for the moment. But the problem is I still get the notification from Gmail when I receive a email, as I cant enter Gmail to switch notification off.

Anyone have any idea's hows i can get Gmail back working ????

Uninstall the Gmail package and reinstall the newer build which Google just updated it like 2days ago. If you don't want to then did you go on with clearing the data cache of Gmail?
