Gmail?

My Gmail wont push to my droid. I can have 100 emails and nothing will be sent to my phone. If I pull up Gmal on my phone, then hit refresh everything shows up. But I never recieve a notification. Also, trying to send something from gmail is useless. Ill reply to an Email and it will sit in the outgoing folder for hours saying, "Sending". If I hit refresh while it sits in the outgoing folder then the email will send.

I have chack all my settings and I cant figure out what my issue is, any help out there?

Do you have an automatic app killer running in the background that could be ending this process?
 
Try this:

1. Go into settings and click on applications
2. Click on manage applications
3. Filter applications list by ALL
4. Scroll to find Gmail Storage app . Go in and delete cache and data
5. Scroll up to find Gmail app. Clear data and cache
6. Shut phone off and restart.

It will reestablish sync with your account.

I had this same thing happen to me in January. This solved it. If you search for posts by me, you will find the Google documentation I referenced.

I don't know about anyone else but I got about 20 emails at 3:02 am this morning. It's like services went down for me for a few hours yesterday 2/28. Anyone else have this happen? I'm wondering if Google was updating servers or some other maintenance task...
 
I'd been having the same problem: had to refresh to get new mail, refresh to see that sent mail was no longer "sending..." I've tried the solution posted here. I've had similar wierdness with the email app and my personal email account. I'm wondering whether something similar needs to be done.

I don't think this solution will work. There is not an "Email Storage" application. I guess you could try clearing your Email cache and data, but, I don't personally have any other email tied to my phone other than Gmail...so I am not 100% sure. Sorry!
