GN: REAL WORLD Performance/Reception

My experience is that it is worse than my OG Droid.

Me too. I get a lot of calls with weird noises. I have to hang up and call back because it is either to annoying or just plain impossible to have a conversation with the all the noise going on. The person on the other side doesn't hear what I'm even talking about

I don't get all fuss over signal, my speeds are 1 to 2x better on nexus than droid razr i had pings about same or little lower. on razr i got on downlink 10-15 mbps on Nexus i get 17 - 35 mbps.

Droid razr not near as fast as my nexus is i stream a movie on apple tv and nexus smoked razr in it downloaded movie 45 min's faster so i dont think its the nexus as much as it is the area people are in.

No issues making/receiving calls at all. I had one phone call where the conversation was breaking up on both ends, but as the other person was driving through a rather large military base here that's known to kill cell signals I'd chalk it up to that rather than my phone.

I live in a 4G area, but my offices are scattered in 3G and 4G areas. If I'm in the 3G area predominantly on a given day, I switch to CDMA to help conserve the battery. There are times I forget to change back to 4G when getting back to home or one of our offices where I can get 4G. I don't really miss it other than when using data. Have not experienced any data drops beyond a few wifi hiccups here and there.
