GN2 Bluetooth Compatibility?

Sprint Webpage states the GN2 is BT v4.0 and only compatible with v4.0 with A2DP, AVDTP, AVRCP, GAVDP, GOEP, HFP, HID, HSP, OBEX, OPV, PAN, PBAP, SDAP, SDP, SPP, Stereo Streaming, VCARD2.1 and VCARD 3.0 devices (makes sense). I have a relatively new Jabra BT2045 BT v2.1 + eSCO & EDR which I planned to use but the phone can't find it (again, makes sense from what Sprint has on their Website).

However when I search GN2 accessories on THIS website it includes BT v2.1 devices? And when researching what BT Headsets folks are using with this phone they are not all BT v4.0. So what Bluetooth compatibility is correct for this phone? Also when looking for BT Headsets rarely does any Website (including THIS one) list the BT version in any specs. So if the phone only pairs with BT v4.0 you have to track down the MFR site and in some cases download the Manual to even find what version it is. I know the Headset works and had no problems pairing with the Blackberry I replaced just a couple of days ago.

Any bluetooth device should be backwards compatible with the Note 2. The version of the bluetooth headset shouldn't make a difference.

On the manual for your BT headset, it has instructions to manually put your headset into pairing mode:
Put the headset in pairing mode manually
In case of unsuccessful pairing, put the Jabra BT2045 into pairing
mode manually . Make sure the headset is off . Press and hold the
answer/end button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED has
a constant light . The LED will flash before the light is constant

Thank you for verifying compatibility. I had followed the Instructions but the phone couldn't find it. Tried it again tonight and it's now connected.
