Gnex naked or case?

I have this case and I really like it but it doesn't protect the top or bottom. It also doesn't fit securely in the holster. For these reason I switched to otter box defender.

Mine is very snug in the holster. I used the same kind on my DX, dropped it several times, not a scratch.

What I mean is its not held in. If something snags it, its coming out.

I didn't use a case for my DX but the back of this feels cheap so I thought I should protect it. Besides, it's slippery without one. I'm using the one with the kickstand which works perfect for my alarm.
