I'm just curious. How many people were Nexus S owners here (I was not)? I've seen a lot of complaints about this phone and almost all of them are hardware related - bad battery, weak speaker, popping speaker, lousy radio, data signal loss, bad reception, cheap physical build quality.
Did the Nexus S (since I believe it was also Samsung) have so many hardware issues at launch? If so, did any of them get resolved? I'm surprised that more software issues aren't popping up as the OS is completely new, but who knows, maybe some of the problems are indeed software related.
I haven't even received my phone yet, so I can't give any of this a fair look myself, but I'm starting to think that Google may have made a very poor choice by going with Samsung over HTC or Motorola with this device. I'm a little nervous that after all of the waiting and the phenomenal press reviews (which I can't usually trust) this thing seems to have a myriad of potent issues.
Opinions?
