Lurker
So I got my phone not too long ago, I didn't install many things, and after medium usage my phone dies after approx 10hours. It doesn't seem normal to me, and it's very annoying that the battery drains so fast. I'm still using the 1750mAh standard battery, and I wonder how helpful would it be if I bought an extension or is there anything I can do to make the battery last longer. I just don't think 10hours is long enough and something must be wrong.
I know there are a lot of threads about this around here but none are as extreme as mine. I'd appreciate any help I can get.
Thank you.

If you don't mind adding some thickness, buying a bigger battery helps a ton. The Hyperion Ion 3500mah battery with nfc for the gsm nexus on amazon is a great battery for the price. I have the 3800 mah because i have the lte version, but I can attest to amazing battery life afterwards.

How long would the 3500 last and how much would it cost?
Also, the main question was is it normal for the battery to drain so quickly?
If I'm using 3G and instant messaging applications (screen of course) I drain up to 45% in two hours..

It seems that Hyperion pulled the nfc version for the gsm nexus, but still sells the 3850mah without nfc. Where are you located out of curiosity? That might restrict what you can order.

Israel, but there's an option for Canada.
Also why do people use the 2100 ones if 3800 exist, and how much would it cost? The bigger one I mean.

Some people use the 2100 because it adds almost zero extra thickness...I have the Verizon gnex and my battery was pretty bad at first but after getting the 2100 and running the 11.18 muzzy rom with Franco kernel nightly 342 I have been getting 1 day 6hours with almost 3 hours of screen time and that is with google now turned on....if you do decide to go the 3500mah route you should be able to make it through a whole day no problem.

How thick would they both be? And how much would it cost? And can i have it delivered here, to israel, and where should i buy it from that are known as trusted?

not seeing your exact battery graphs it would be hard to say what is normal, but from your desciption, it seems normal to me. 2-3 hours of screen time is about it.
