I have a Nokia E71 so I'm looking for a new phone anyway.
If I spend twice as much for a Note instead of a galaxyS can I realistically expect to be able to do remote sysadmin tasks like ssh and cpanel? How much difference does that screen make? Is it a smooth browsing experience with everything working? Or how about connecting to a remote machine by vnc or similar to work from there?
A laptop is quite big to carry so I usually have to wait til i get home.
I had an iPad2 but I sold it because it didn't make much sense in that it was so crippled and couldn't really do laptop stuff and i never had it with me when i needed it.
My worry is that I get the phone and find the same inadequacies as I did with the iPad.
I want to be able to do ssh comfortably, use the amazon s3 panel (i think it's java though) and things like admining a webstore interface etc. Basically developing a webstore when a laptop is not an option (i find netbooks are pretty small anyway)
