Go Launcher EX...

Just updated to the 'Go Launcher EX' but didn't realize it was a completely different app, I thought it would just update my GL. Does anyone know of a way to set it up exactly like my Go Launcher already is without having to go through and put together every screen manually? I would greatly appreciate it if you have any suggestions.

If you made a configuration backup for GO Launcher then that backup will work with GO Launcher EX. That's what I did and it worked fine.
 
Damn what's up with this thing and resizing widgets? I think they need to do an update. I just switched over from 'Go Launcher' and now everytime I wake the phone up and scroll through my home screens at least one of my widgets that I've resized (which accounts for most of my widgets) is gone, and in its place is a sign that reads, "problem inflating widget".

We need a fix. Or maybe I need to do a power cycle and see if that helps.
 
Does anyone know what backup files are necessary to copy/backup to SD? The backup feature seems pretty pointless since the backup file isn't contained in one or two files.
 
GOLauncherEX/db

It restores from those 3 files (it use to be one config file a few versions ago which was nice). You can save the "DB" folder elsewhere (like save as db-101111), and then you can restore from older back ups. Back-ups get over-written if you don't save them elsewhere (manually).

I never need anything older than the previous one. I back up every time I make a screen change... if something messes up on an update or a reboot, I just hit restore and all is well.
