Root go launcher ex

Can someone help me I wanna make most of the go launcher stuff my default is there anyway to do that I wanna remove my contacts texts messaging I think there was the dialer n so some other stuff how would I do that remove default and replace with go launcher stuff
 
Do u mean just slap it on top of the Stock one or as in replace the stock LG Launcher with Go Launcher so when u do a factory restore, it uses Go Launcher as stock?
 
But I want the go SMS go contact go dialer and there like two more to replace all the factory one so when I click it goes to them instead of the default ones

well thats easy... just pick your favorite rom, open it with 7zip and remove the stock launcher, sms and whatever... then copy the new ones in it than flash the damn thing haha

but if you want to keep your current running rom but just have that launcher as default and sms and stuff there a few diff options, but most consist of adb, remove old and push new & reboot ( if you need help with adb just ask, im sure one of us will help you)

but...

if you already have both versions of each app than all you have to do is remove the ones you dont want... probly just use Titanium backup free to remove desired apps, just be careful... make backups first just incase :D

and if you need further assistance/explanation dont hesitate to ask...

Usually with contact..launcher ect...when two different progrags(apps) are the phone a box pops up to ask you to choose which one to use.
Don't you get option?
Bottom of the option is a check box to choose "always use this" in so many words.
 
AFAIK, go sms will always run ontop of MMS as MMS is required by the android system for receiving text messages. goSMS simply ties into MMS to get the messages.

I had gosms on a custom rom I made for my optimus, and after every reboot, MMS would still come up showing me all the messages I had before as new. Couldn't figure out how to get rid of it.

EX has a point on the SMS conflict...have to keep both as they are tied into one another. The contacts and dialer are a different story. Could make a backup first(!!!!!!!) Then uses titanium to freeze the stock dialer and contacts...reboot and see if its how you want it. Or you could get gutsy(you do have a backup afterall) and use root explorer to delete those apps that you don't want. I would try the titanium approach first. See if that works:)
