Its brilliant, i prfer it to LP + although there are no widgets yet, however i love the menu and the fact you can set swipe reactions..


Give it a go :)
 
Never heard of Go before, but I just installed in, and so far VERY impressed. First home replacement I've found that supports 9 screens.

yup - GL rocks imo - ive tried pretty much all the others and this one seems to work the best
 
I swapped Handcent for GO SMS about 2 weeks ago just to be different and been getting on really well with it. Hae seen Go Launcher in the market but looking at the screenshots it looked like ADW which I don't like.

Might have to give it a try now though.

Yeah what is that swipe reactions thing?
 
LanucherPro also has 'swipe' thingys, no idea what they're for but GO seems very similar to LP
 
Only thing I liked was the menu on it

ah, you mean gestures? only a couple at moment
but they work well.
swipe down I use for pulling down notification
bar.much easier than going right to top of screen.
swipe up I have set to helicopter view.

but these are user defined obviously :)

I use a few swipe gestures in LP to hide notification bar and show popups etc and they work well.

Gonna stick with LP at the mo but think this is worth keeping an eye on. Need the widgets like LP for me to change.

Actually I myself didn't read that line. Widgets is no issue for me as all my widgets are 3rd party. Don't use any LP ones.
 
i use it as well and its working very well. not gonna lie though its not very different from LP - you can do the exact same things except with more homescreens and slightly different options, and no widgets.
 
Im running GoLauncher and GOSMS....

Does anyone know what to get the badge working on the SMS dock icon?
I have checked the box but when i get a sms i get the notification icon up the top and the green bubble but i dont get the badge on the dock. Any ideas?
 
Tried it for a while earlier along with their SMS app. I'd be using them both right now...If I didn't have LauncherPro and Handcent. It's a very good launcher but I think it's just edged out slightly by LP at the moment. I'll definitely keep an eye on it though.

Same, not a clue.
 
I can't see me using their launcher from the comments, LP is doing it for me. But i tried handcent, chomp and go today for the first time. I ended up sticking with Go.
