Help Go SMS and Galaxy S3

I recently had to uninstall and reinstall my Go SMS messaging app and now all my favorited messages are gone. Does anyone know how to find them on the phone? Are they still on my phone? My private inbox messages came back. I looked at the back up function but nothing there.

They still may be listed in the Stock Messaging app. If not they are gone.

Go Sms has a backup for settings but i duno if it saves messages tbh

You can lock messages by long pressing a message until the menu pops up and select 'lock message', but I don't know if it remembers them if you uninstall then reinstall the app .
