Go SMS Pro Unread Message Count

Hey guys. I just switched from my ancient iPhone 4 to a new Samsung Galaxy S4. I downloaded Go SMS Pro and I love it. However, the only thing that bothers me is the icon on my main page (the row of 5) does not show a little count or number of unread messages. I have switched the app to be my default messaging program, and adjusted the settings that were supposed to be changed. I still get the notification in the top left corner, but I would like to have the unread message count on the actual icon. Anyone know how to do this?

Theres probably easier ways but Nova Launcher will do it :thumbup:

I suspect your launcher doesn't support go sms unread counts. That's one of the many reasons people switch from the stock launchers.

Handcent is very similar to GoSMS and much better in my opinion. They have a 1X1 widget that displays the unread count.

GoSMS used to be great but recently they've added full screen ads when exiting the app. It also was running very slowly on my SGS3.

Ditch Go products.. they're bloated, eat too much of your phones resources, and are full of ads.

Apex or Nova launchers are good, as is ssLauncher (best features are in the pay versions).

Then go here, get inspired, and make some magic with your new cell phone.
