Go SMS vs Handcent vs Stock Messaging Picture Rotation

I have been using Go SMS and love it. However pictures that are sent via Go and Handcent are rotated to the left 90*. The stock messaging apps sends them in the correct orientation.

Any ideas?

That's weird. Are you receiving them this way or is your phone sending them that way? If it's a receiving issue, is the sender using a Motorola phone? Moto phones are notorious for sending sideways pics.

I am the sender. In both Hadncent and Go the preview before they are sent are off by 90 degrees to the left. In the stock app the preview shows the correct orientaton.

And I agreee, very wierd.

Did you take the pictures holding the phone vertical or horizontal? If I take a vertical pic (portrait style, rather than landscape), if I try to send it unedited, it will send sideways. You can fix this by cropping some of the height off of it.

I had the same thing happen when using GO SMS.
