Help Goes to sleep during movies

I am using the HDMI out to my TV, but I cant seem to get the phone to not go into sleep mode. I have changed the phones setting to only do it every 30 minutes.... but I'd like to be able to watch a movie without getting up to turn it back on all the...

I have looked through tons of settings... Im guessing there is an easy fix..

any help?

i watched several movies thru the HDMI but my phone never went to sleep

I've watch bridesmaids and not once did it go into sleep mode.

while a movie is playing the sleep function is turned off...

are you using an app to play the movie? or the stock gallery video player?
