Android its good, it has potential, Im just going to hold off for future devices and updates on the adroid os. My unlocked g1 is going on craigslist.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience wasn't up to par. Not every phone is for everybody. And to the people that are being childish....I got my eye on you. Learn some respect.
 
What's to respect? There was nothing useful in starting a whole new thread on his third post just to say 'I'm selling my G1 on craigslist'.

If there was a useful list of cons that caused the decision, some evidence of participation in the forums and a goodbye, or a shred of anything that didn't just say 'I found the G1 didn't have as much gynecological magnetism as my iPhone so I'm gonna ditch it and go back' it would have been different.

I showed the same respect he did.

You might be on to something there.

Not a thing wrong with someone posting and saying the G1 didn't live up to what they wanted and are going to give Android more time to improve. What does post count have to do with anything?

I don't know how many hints I have to drop about being tired of seeing a certain couple of people, for no reason, be rude to fellow members. Not doing it anymore for them. You know who you are.

You know that old saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Keep that in mind when posting here.

edit: I'll also mention, for the hell of it. It's not like I'm not a lenient guy. A certain one of you had already banned, and then unbanned by me (because I'm that just that nice of a guy) - and probably never even noticed. So it's not like I haven't tried to give the benefit of the doubt. Repeatedly. You're welcome.
 
haha, i was returning my G1 and mentioned the iPhone...and one of the rep responded defensively...oh you are considering a lower classed phone?

Well, I decided to keep the G1, for now im going to use my iphone tho. As soon as we can install apps to the sd card so we dont use the phones internal memory, and fix some bugs, im gong back to the G1,

People dont get me wrong, im not dissing the g1. its a great phone, i love the fact we could multitask and its open source, but the space to save apps is very limited.

I consider a forum a place where people could express their opinions and i was just letting people know why i was switching back to the iphone, i meant no disrespect to the people that use, or praise the g1.
 
yeah the limited memory bugs me, but I plan to just dl and install apps that are necessary for me. I will dl and check out some but uninstall the ones I wont use. Especially the memory hogs. But yeah we should have been able to utilize the SD as an option to save to. Heck my old SDA gave me an option to install into the MiniSD for apps :confused:

I notice I do exactly what you do as well, I delete what I seriously don't use to free up space, and i'm constantly updating myself to see what I actually will use. It's gonna change, I believe soon we will be able to save apps to the sd card.
 
I havn't run into many problems with space but sure, its restrictive. I did a quick count and I have 41 apps installed, and I still have space (not a lot but enought for a dozen or so more apps).

How many apps do you guys have installed?

I personally think the phone is the best built, most innovative, incredibly user friendly device ever devised. however,
It seems that you understand the importance for the universe to not judge but influence in the best, most peacfull way, because it does come back to all of us. Some folks dont realize that it isnt for everyone, even if it doesnt make sense to us. S o some people dont like it as well as the Iphone, So what. When the Iphone came out i didnt like ATT, not the phone, so i was called every name in the book.
