Going away and worried about data usage

Hi

Am going away in December and am worried about being charged for data usage whilst abroad.

Im on the Three network in the UK. What do I do on my phone to ensure that no data/mobile internet is active whilst away. I still need to use the phone to receive calls etc... but do not want to use it to browse the internet, except when connected to WIFI.

Kind regards

Kiran

Hi Kiran. Menu>settings>more settings>mobile networks, untick mobile data and data roaming and your good to go mate. Leave your wifi on and you can use that for internet/email/etc when you get in a wifi zone:)

Make sure that data roaming and mobile data aren't ticked in settings, more settings, mobile networks

Edit: nice ninja murzz
