Root Going back to stock

Can anyone tell me if there is a step by step guide to go back to stock everything (unrooting, etc). Enough to where I can take it back to best buy. My charging port is very loose when I plug in the charger and best buy said they would replace the phone. I am currently rooted with s-off, with a custom rom (midnight).
On another note, I was looking on the virgin mobile website and they now offer the samsung galaxy s2. I would like to get peoples opinion on this phone also. Best buy does not currently carry this phone for virgin mobile but I am debating about getting this phone when they do decide to carry it.

Thanks for the feedback.

They don't usually care about root, as long as the phone boots. The charging port issue obviously has nothing to do with being rooted.

When they exchange the phone, they usually do a master reset to wipeall personal info. Can they do the reset in settings when I am rooted and s off or will that mess up the phone?

After rooting and having a custom recovery installed you should never do a factory reset from within Android, it should be done through recovery. Doing so may cause bootloops, why don't you just do it yourself before you bring it back.
