Root Going crazy with 2.3.3 update

Ahh, hey guys and lasts got a couple of questions so please help. Well I got a stock dx and want to root but the update wont let me z4 keeps fc ing on me and every root app I have used same thing. Well any suggestions for that. The other question is, I have another dx that's rooted but wont update to 2.3.3. Cause I deleted some bloat can I put the bloat back on and how? Well thanx guys any help will b appreciated

the update cannot be rooted. both of your phones will need to be sbf'ed back to froyo. then root with z4. then install the 2 part pre-rooted GB. everything you need can be found in the stickies.

That's what I thought bud thanks now to sbf will I be able to update from froyo and keep my root

Yes when you update from froyo using the two part pre-rooted GB you will still have root and be on .596

my other dx is still on froyo because i removed some bloat and couldnt update. can i just put the 2 part pre rooted on it and be fine without the bloat or does the 2 part gb need the bloat also?
