I just answered this question for someone and thought others may want this information

I assume you used odin to get altered. The first thing that you want to do is start getting your backups going. I would do 2 different backups. First I would do:
1. Titanium backup(free in the app store)
a.menu button
b.batch
c.back up all user apps + system data
2. If you like your setup on launcher pro(included in altered ) go to preferences, scroll to the bottom and backup
3.Put gummy on your sd card in the root of your SD card
(the basic where you will find folders like DCIM , Launcher pro, etc) from your computer. you want the zip file of gummy just as you downloaded it, don't unzip on your computer.
4.using rom manager reboot into recovery
( I always get the triangle and android here so take out battery for a sec, put it back in and restart) wipe your data.
5. then in the recovery menu, install zip from sd. select gummy.
7. you will need to reinstall everything. go to the app store and get titanium.(you will need to update your gmail stuff) open titanium, menu, batch,restore all apps with data.
6.Tada! enjoy.
on a side note, if you use hotmail you will have to access the gummy toolbox and put the mail back on.
