Root Going to retire my motion

So, after 3 years, I will finally let my beloved motion retire. I live in Forest hill, Tx and while metros cdma network IS STILL working here, and my motion still works fine but to make a call you use speaker and the screen is cracked , im ready to upgrade. I finally found a phone better than my motion, I bought it for my wife, the Optimus F60. Good space, I played kill shot for an hour and a half last night on it and the battery went only from 100% to 90% in that time. I will miss my motion, 3 years and has been a very reliable phone.

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who supported this phone over the years and probably will continue to develop using this hardware, and while MetroPCS will no longer be using CDMA towers remember there are carriers out there that continue to use it, unlock it and switch.

Ive flashed firmware, bricked countless times trying to build a kitkat rom, got stuck in 1000s of boot loops, and even dropped the phone a few thousand times, its still working.

So in a few days, I will retire my motion, but I will continue learning all about android coding & development, and with the motion staying in my wifi only family, I will fix the screen and speaker, and do what I can to help those who will not be able to upgrade their phone along the way.

Are you sure about the F60 being a good idea? I had the F6 which is very similar to the F60 and I was not impressed coming from the Motion. I got rid of the F6 like it was fire after 9 months. I had no money to upgrade, but recently saved enough and got a Nexus 5 and never looked back. I highly doubt you would enjoy the F60. My first impression with the F6 was good, but then eventually saw all the flaws with it which was A LOT.

I've had the f60 a little over a month, and the touch screen started picking up contacts when nothing was touching it. I got it warranty replaced and the new one is doing the same thing. They ordered another replacement, but I am done. I'm getting an HTC One tomorrow. It was nice at first then the glitches began and it was really frustrating that it took almost a month to get the replacement. Then the replacement did the same thing right after I got it, within the hour. I would wait for some software updates to be made before buying it, especially since they raised the price to $99.
