Root Going to root but need help.

I have a htc evo with the screen leak under the buttons and the bottom of the screen should i root my phone or wait until they release the SLCD ones? or get get aa new one sense rooting is legal now does it affect the warranty? tell me what you believe are/is the best roms rom manager and other apps and stuff of that sort i will thank

1st, if you don't know what you are doing DONT root...

2nd, rooting voids the warranty (if you don't revert back to stock before seeking service)

3rd, see 1st....

I don't think the new copyright laws apply to rooting an android. It may be legal, but it still voids your warranty. The laws don't apply to android because google allows you to install third party unapproved apps.

Also, what do you expect to do trade your phone in? How long are you going to wait for the new ones to come out and for your trade in to arrive?

There are a ton of resources on this site for rooting, and its much easier now than it was when it first came out.

They way u put this together it makes it sound like if u wanted to fix the light leakge by rooting ur phone which it wont.
