Root Going to root....

Ok thus far I have rooted. I got ti back up and froze a bunch of crap. I also got rid of tw through saps method. Then I did cwr through oden. Did a backup. Flash stupid fast that went fine. Tried to load super dark and it froze at boot screen. Maz got me back to my backup through cwr. Thanks maz! Then I flashed stupid dark again. Got fc on all kinds of stuff. Restored again. Haven't flashed since. If I want to go back to unrooted state, all I have to do now is undo the tw move, unfreeze everything, and then unroot and I should be back to stock correct? Thanks!

well to be completely stock you d have to odin the system, kernel and stock recovery. and if it didnt unroot, then you d have to manually unroot

but unless you were trying to return the phone or something that would be most likely overkill :)

So unfreeze, put tw back and unroot would suffice? I don't plan on takin it back just curious. If I flashed stupid fast wrong, could it have messed my stock kernell up when I restored?

its tough to flash a nonvoodoo kernel "wrong". either it takes and replaces the previous one or it doesnt take...worst case it bootloops you, but you d know that right away.

lets just say it is entirely possible to return your phone to stock and if you ever require it, we will help you :) i wouldnt worry too much about it now if you dont plan to in the immediate future though.

I'm just nervious about the update thingy and 2.2 when it comes out. I got real nervious last night when it wasn't booting up.
