Gold Champagne Transformer Prime Discontinued

Guys, i pre ordered Transformer Prime (Champagne) from Canada Computer around a week ago and i received an email saying that the champagne one was discontinued, have you guys heard about this??
 
Sometimes when a dealer can't get stock their system defaults to saying "discontinued".

Considering Champagne Gold units were sent out for reviewers to evaluate and share pictures of, it's pretty certain they will be sold.

Thanks for the quick reply, i guess i'll try calling ASUS to make sure then.
 
I called ASUS today and they confirmed that only Grey will be available in Canada, well i guess i'll go with the grey one.

I don't think I'd be too happy, the grey seems a little bland to me. The champagne is beautiful on the other hand.

Well,i agree,i wanted the champagne one, but the grey is an amethyst grey so i think it's still gonna be sexy
 
And since it is the gray ones being cancelled for some on Amazon, and I still show a pending January 5 ship date, I'd say the Champgne is indeed alive and well. I'm in the U.S.A. for the record.
 
Just for the record.....a poll was taken regarding color preference...and last time I checked the Amethyst Grey version was the number one choice by a two to one margin.

Then I'm glad I ordered the Champagne. A higher chance of getting it from my preorder. :)
