Not for me. Getting them into the building where I work is not an issue. Getting them out on the other hand is a problem. If found on your on the way out they'll be taken and you may get it back at the end of 7 days... or you may get fired.not for me. e cant take electronics in to the building where i work.
Yeah. It's kinda weird because I scanned the area for towers and found that there is only 1 in my area. It's a mile or so away from me too. The cable guy couldn't even get a signal in my house with his T-Mobile phone where as I had 2-3 bars on my Prevail.
Every carrier has their own dead zones, this just happens to be 1 of T-Mobiles I guess. He can probably go a mile down the road and have full signal. lol![]()
How did you scan for towers?
that is pretty cool!!!!!An app called OPEN SIGNAL MAPS. It a pretty neat little app too.

Here's a shot of my area. Small town huh? lmao I've got the mountains plus the San Andreas Fault to my back and desert and oil fields in front of me.

that is pretty cool!!!!!
Yep.. It's a neat app. Shows wifi signal and location too.
in my area i do get better coverage than boost or sprint. i can make and receive calls indoors. and the galaxy s3 is going to be better than the evo 4g lol
and as for the capping they are doing it with boost now too. dont know if you have noticed. went from 1.8mbps to like .5 max 1mbps. i already opened the account on tmobile like an hour ago and they guy is going to hold 2 s3 for us on thursday. plus i get a discount from my job so its like $80 for 2 lines unlimited text 1000 minutes free mobile to mobile, nights and weekends, and free wificalling. and up to 2gb highspeed data. and in my experience i have gotten better customer service from tmobile so far than i ever did with boost.

Guess I have an antenna 2 blocks from my home, which would explain my nice speeds.
Nearest one to me is a mile and a half away, in the middle of a river
??? My shot says that it's accurate to 39M. Maybe not pin point accurate but neat nonetheless.

I uses to get a decent signal at work but a few months ago it got bad and never came back to what it was yet
That's pretty cool man! But fir some reason the compass does not point to where the tower is on the map? Kinda strange.. also my tower doesn't say boost mobile like yours, it just shows the "EVDO" still cool, I always wondered where my tower was at home because I get good signal hereI uses to get a decent signal at work but a few months ago it got bad and never came back to what it was yet

Are you running CTMod?
The compass may be a CTMod thing. I don't think Blood has fixed it yet.
Haha yep I got CTMod, I forgot about the compass thing.
Here is something interesting ..... the cell tower at work is twice as close as the one at home. But yet I get half as much signal at work. Lol
What is your line of sight at work vs home?
Pine trees might be in the way. They'll weaken a signal in a heartbeat.
Naw, we only see Pine trees at X-Mas in So. Cal![]()
Maybe its because all the water trapped in the needles of the Pine tree's?
