Hello cadillac! Just got a new job at a cadillac dealership as a sales associate there. Should be a great jump up for me. Now who wants to come buy a new cts-v :D

i could install a droid into the escalades then tether those :P I do need to do a bunch of researching on these cars since I've never been interested in luxury cars, always been a performance guy.

You think Cadillac isn't about performance? What are the CTS-V and XLR then?

Way to go on landing that job, gallandof.

I would head over there to be one of your first sales, but alas, I am a Yugo man.

ZR1 powered, I'd do as much research as possible so you don't give the wrong impressions when you start.

I give props to that car, but I don't consider it personally a true performance car... it's a luxury sports car with go fast parts. (similar to how I dont consider the iPhone a powerhouse device) again thats personal preference. I dont sell to myself I sell to others. PS i would love the CTS-V sportwagon (i believe I even mention the cts-v earlier too :P). If anything I need to touch up on their other cars (SRX,escalade, and their ets[i believe])

IIRC, the CTS is built on the same platform as the Camaro and the former Pontiac G8. I'd say the only differences are how much sound deadening material they use in each car and interior amenities/materials. GM is notorious for sharing platforms across a range of its cars, hence the Cimarron I posted above is probably recognized by many as a "tarted-up" Chevy Cavalier. On the plus side, t's one of the country's more recognized automotive brands.

Vague, very vague memory of ads for that.

Of course, my memory of last night is vague, as well. I think there was a nap involved...

:D

My father had a locker full of old GM sales catalogs that the previous occupant left after they retired from GM after 30 years. He gave them all to me and it's both amazing and a little comical to see what passed for "performance" back then, whether it was horsepower or fuel economy. I scanned a few pages awhile back, lets see if I can scrounge them up....
