Good Email app found.

Touchdown is good, however I have 2 Microsoft Exchange accounts. You have to switch profiles to see both. Does anyone know of a app that you do not have to switch to see both profiles?

Also with the stock app, which I really don't have any issues with, I have added both my microsoft exchanges to this account, however I can't add my Yahoo email to the native app. I get an error when I try to add it.

Has anyone run into this? I had to download the Yahoo app.

Yes, this is an ongoing problem. The native email doesn't handle Yahoo Mail well at all. And the Yahoo Mail App 2.0.3 is buggy and Push doesn't work on it. So you'd have to refresh inbox manually.

I have no issues getting my Yahoo mail through the stock mail client. At least I don't notice any errors.

Two questions:
1- does the new message indicator work?
2- When you visit your inbox, do you only see the messages that are there, or a whole bunch of old messages from days and weeks past still show (stuff long deleted or gone)?

On mine and a few others, YM on the stock email is a mess. Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by New message indicator. But I do see the number of unread messages on the icon. I have no issues with the erased emails either. One thing I noticed from my old device is that if you erased an email without opening it, it will be stuck there. This was an issue with my HTC evo 4g. But with my current phone I don't see any issues so far.

When you get a new email without touching the Mail App or be viewing it in that moment do you get notification, such as a chime, status bar icon and a LED warming? Thanks!

You know what? I really don't know. LOL! I've been getting a lot of sound every hour that I won't get work done if I look at each sound that originated on mutt phone. =)

I keep trying to log in to the stock email app and it tells me I already have my accounts synced which I never did..Then when I try to put my password in it says restore failed. I don't get it

Anyone still using Touchdown? When I first tried Android a couple of years ago it seemed to be the undisputed leader for a full featured email client with good Exchange support? My Note 2 should arrive tomorrow, and I'll probably be looking for a good mail program and wondering of Touchdown should still be on that list?

I love Touchdown. I've used it now for a couple of years and now on the Note II. No issues at all and the developer is very responsive if I ever have a suggestion. I always get a reply within a couple of hours and they have implemented several of my suggestions for improvements /enhancements.

Just to try it...

I installed Touchdown.

I don't have an Exchange account, but I use an iMap account for my Apple iCloud.

Could not set it up through Touchdown. It uses an ActiveSync which would not recognize the Apple iMap email.

Back to AquaMail.

stock email app will not work well with Yahoo. you may want to download the Yahoo email App from Play, although that has Push issues.

Yeah I have been using the Yahoo app for years and after these most recent updates its horrible. I might just transfer all my stuff over to use my gmail account and say screw Yahoo all together. I don't like the new layout at all!!!
