Also, have y'all seen the new Android Market yet? I've got the apk, or I can post a link later if anyone wants it. Forewarning though, while it works fine on rooted phones for the most part, the new movie rental feature is disabled, because of some sorta BS copyright issues. As if root users are criminals or something.

this editorial is WAAAAAY to true...i have helped atleast 50 people now gain root and then some..but i have this 1 kid (who i have now deleted off my gtalk friends list) who literally wants me to sit and wipe his ass..igave him everything he could possibly need to root,flash recovery,flash rom and get mms working on his evo.told him where to go to get all the files..heres the kicker!! he asks me "how do i flash a .zip".i tell him through recovery..and he asked "whats recovery?"..at this point im like "wtf do you mean,whats recovery?!"..have you read ANYTHING about what your doing????? he literally asked me to send him every single file needed to root (ect)..i told him exactly what site/thread to look in and everything.and his response EVERY SINGLE TIME,can you email me the zip files??????? F NO I CANT!!!! i spent 2 hours giving you help/information and all the possible answers i had for you...and now you want me to hold your hand and wipe your ass too!!!! i mean,dont get me wrong,i LOVE to teach noobs the rundown of android (we were all noobs once,so dont hate!!) but damn,if you want me to literally do everything for you,you may as well not do it at all..if you need someone to fix every problem you have for you,because your too lazy to learn and take the time,then you should just NOT ROOT YOUR PHONE! bottom line..lol sorry for the long-ass post. but just trying to justify this guys point about how some people just SHOULD NOT root their phones...i bricked one phone and that was a GREAT learning experience. it REALLY made me wanna learn more so i can prevent future bricking....Ya dig!?
 
itsa good read, it is one thing to have questions when they arise but if you dont understand what unzipping is you probably need to learn more first
