I appreciate the well moderated topics and the extensive forum s on this site. I have been the owner of a Samsung Fascinate since early October and have had great success with the phone to date. With the recent brouhaha over VZW's implementation of DL09and EA28, I thought this was a good opportunity to learn about rooting the phone and jumping into the off-world of user group support. I have been impressed with the improvement of operations with the new ROM and I thank the usergroup for the wealth of knowledge presented.
I live in northern CA, work in the electronics field as a comm systems specialist and have been a gadget freak forever. My first hacks were with an Apple II+ back in the eighties and I enjoy plc programming, etc.
Thank you again!
