Good video player App?

Hi, new to the forums lol so please excuse me if this question has been answered. Picked this phone up from T-mobile Sunday and I like it very much. Fast response good speeds etc.. I was talking to my friend who's smart with androids and he said that it's possible to watch (avi files) on this phone. I am not talking about pirated movies, just some old family videos I would like to show to my friends and family. I've been trying to find a good app but it's like very impossible. Can anyone recommend one?

If you need some info about the Avi file I have here it is..

MPEG-4 (XVID)
Resolution 624x352
Frame rate 23.9

I use Rockplayer, that plays most of what I throw at it.

With the lower resolution of the screen and the slower processor, you might find some videos can be pretty choppy though unfortunately.

Rockplayer was lagging too much. I tried this app called MX Video Player and it worked perfectly. Thank you.
