Goodbye Admire folks

Well y'all at the first of the month I broke down & bought the Connect. With the price of it down to $249 I decided it was better than fighting with my Admire all the time to even get a d/l of 300. Now I have 4500. I will still be visiting around here though. I'm giving the Admire to my friend. He has never had an Android or any smartphone actually. So, when he takes it to metro what does he pay? Just the plan amount he chooses? Do they charge b him a connect fee, to change the phone number on it? Will they do anything to it that restores it to stock? This is going to be a challenge teaching him to use it.

Oh, y'all don't get to get rid of me so easily. I'll be lurking since my friend will have the phone. With the Connect being down to $249 I decided it was my early bday present to myself.

All he would have to do is pick his plan, and have it activated. That's what happened when I sold my old LG Esteem to my friend. Only thing though, they will considered a used phone obviously, but he will not be able to get the insurance because it's been used on someone's account. Thats's what happened to me with the LG Esteem and my friend tried to activate over the phone. They will give him a new number and will not charge him a connect fee.
