Goodbye Fellow Ascend Users

It pains me to say it but I will no longer be using my Ascend (I gave it to my father). I have flashed my HTC Hero to Cricket and will be using that... at least until the Huawei Glory comes out ;). It has been a pleasure working with you all and you have been very helpful. I hope to you all soon in the Huawei Glory forums in November :D

Good luck with the Hero, wish we had Cricket here in the Tampa area of FL. Still waiting for Metro to get a decent Android device. Yeah the Ascend is ok, but the optimus aint much better, and the galaxy that they have is probably the worst one on the market. They were supposed to be introducting a new phone in July, so i guess its a wait and see.

You can always try boost mobile (I did) and I love it. The Galaxy prevail is not the best phone but it blows the Ascend away ( I still love the community support for the ascend) Oh yeah and did I tell you, you get full 3g!!! Just a suggestion. $ 50/mo unlimited everything!!!:D

Eh i am gonna stick with Metro and just get a EVO or equally good phone for it. Metro's service in my area, and area's that i travel to frequently are great. Boost is ok, but i often visit non-sprint covered area's so it causes a problem

Does everything work when you flash a new phone to Cricket?
