Goodies for the 2.1 leak?

If I flashed that 2.1 leaked ROM, can I download something else that adds Friend Stream and speech to text? or do I have to flash a whole new ROM?

You can use the XDA keyboard with the 2.1 ROM to use speech to text. I don't use friend stream, so I can't help you with that one....

Downloaded, intsalled and activated it and its the same thing as my stock keyboard. I dont see a microphone icon or anywhere to use speech to text when I tap to compose in my Gmail.

If you flash The DamageControl 2.08.1 ROM, you'll get those included.

Go to type a text message... click on where you would type and HOLD. Change input method to HTC-IME mod
