I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but my old galaxy note would dim and brighten the screen automatically problems. For some reason my 2014 edition refuses to dim the screen automatically. It will brighten no problem but when I turn the lights off it stays bright. I have to turn the screen off and back on again to get it to dim, or I can uncheck the auto dim box, then recheck it and it dims. I have no idea what's going on and trying to get help from Samsung is like asking how to build a rocket over the phone. Freaking useless. Any ideas?
