Is it just me or is Google Accounts a mess under the Samsung EPIC (android 2.1)?.
First off, I don't see any way to manage aps for applications like youtube or gmail. The aps are there, but they don't come up under Applications > manage applications. How can I clear Google aps data for instance?
Secondly, I changed my the password on my google account and there was no easy way to change the password or even delete and re add the account. by accident I discovered that only after logging into Market (which was the only google ap that prompted for new password) was able to then delete my google account and readd it. messy.
Finally, I added two addition google accounts to my phone. Great. Well except (and I'm not sure why or how), now when I attempt to share/upload video to youtube from gallery, it only list my business account (the second account i added) as an option and no longer lists the personal or shared family account (3rd account). I manually log off the business account while in youtube and log into my personal and the family accounts, but it adds neither to the list of available accounts for shareing. I remove my business account from youtube on web and reboot phone, but still it's trying to connect to youtube with it. I can now only videos via youtube with an account that I'm not interested in and does not even have access to youtube. It just flickers the account while in youtube. I can log off, but when access again it seems to log into youtube with it.
Please tell me Froyo 2.2 will be coming to the Epic too and that some of this will be addressed.
Ideally.. like syncing, we have on option to control what accounts become visible for sharing via the various applications. maybe even control over what accounts are the default for set products.
Perhaps I'm dreaming. Perhaps I'm the only one with these problems.
