Help google account setup problem

Hi, im using sony ericsson w8 with docomo prepaid connection and I can't setup google account in this. It says google can't setup reliable connection to the server. Is it bcoz I didn't activate 3g?

Generally, on a prepaid connection, data services are disabled. Activate a 2G/3G data pack and then try setting up your google account

brother you will need internet to setup google account. so you either activate the data connection from your service provider or connect to a wifi network.

But brother, I have tried it several times. Same problem occuring. I dont know what to do.

Well, I have the same problem with my W8... I've tried to set up a Google account for several times with different internet providers... and NO results! I'd appreciate so much some help! Thank you!
