Help Google app, voice recording only half the time since new software update...

Since recently updating my Evo's software, the one touch Google search app from the front of the phone no longer functions as BEAUTIFULLY and flawlessly as it once did.

After hitting the search button, it only picks up my voice only half the time (I can now yell at the top of my lungs and it receives nothing half the time-just bizarre, like mike is on mute/off). The half the time that it does pick up my voice, the microphone doesn't work as well as it used to. I tried deactivating the voice learning feature, only to find out that speach recognition was even worse.

It's only (immediately) since updating my software. Anyone else having this issue? Thx in advance!

Yup, same here. Does the same from the keyboard mic shortcut as well. It's really irritating when driving using maps.

I have enjoyed using speech to text but now after the update to 2.3 the mic barely picks up my voice, if at all! Is there a way to adjust mic sensitivity now?

EXACTLY my same issue. Hopefully we can hear from someone w/ useful advice...
