Google Assistant. Do you have it yet?

I don't think you even have to do that. Like someone said it comes in waves. All you have to do is long press home button. Been doing that since I read this thread and it was only today that the google assistant pop up.

So I guess the 'wave' reach my phone today. LOOOL.
 
Just got it today morning (3/9/2017). I held home button and it prompted new Google Assistance and I was in.
 
I updated to B14 (Metro), Updated all apps and pressed and held the home button. Somewhere along the sequence of events I got the Google Assistant. But its only after holding the home button that it was activated. Just do it too, it might be hiding somewhere in your device right now.

Assistant.apk has been on my phone since day one. I didnt ever try to use it because I dont want to use it. Makes sense that you start it like Google Now because its Google Now 2.0,basically. I wish I could uninstall it but gotta have root for that.
 
One thing I notice since setting up Assistant, battery drains way faster than before.

And then I charge the phone at 29%, the moment I plug the charger went down to 25%, WTF. Really ZTE?

Oh wow just check battery to see what change in the list and on the bottom is 99443? What the hell is that? I googled and I don't see anything related to android?

I'm currently charging though so I am gonna run battery app again once it's done to see if it still there.

I installed the latest March update last week but still no sign of Assistant o_O

When I hold down the home button I get Screen Search - whatever that is ..
