Help Google + auto update turns itself on

I have Google + photos auto backup disabled in the Google + settings as well as the photo app settings and my sync settings. Every time I take a picture, it will turn itself back on in my sync settings and I will find the photo has been uploaded. It's still off in all the other places. I prefer to only backup certain photos, not every one I take such as for items I sell on craigslist and ebay so it gets annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

I use that app and have never had any issues. But you can change how it backs up over WiFi or mobile networks and see if that helps in the autoback settings.
