Help google calander problem

when i set an event then
press "done" , the wee
'loading' circle spins but the
sync icon doesnt show in
status bar+ then loading
thing just spins. I've tried
deleting cache/data from the
app to no avail. then i went
to accounts+sync , manage
accounts and under my email
address it says "sync error"
then when i tap on my email
addy, nxt to "sync
com.android.com theres a
white exclamation in a small
red box nxt to the 'sync'
symbol. any suggestions
please?

can i safely uninstall calander?
i have it frozen justnow+evrythn seems fine.....
any1 recomend a good simple one that moves to sd card?
