Root Google calendar sync with tasks?

I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong...i use google tasks and calendar, but I can't get my tasks to sync on my calendar. I'm currently using the app gtasks and maybe I set it up wrong? When I sync, the tasks don't show up on my calendar...i use the go launcher calendar widget.

Do I need some special configuration or different app?
