Help Google Calendar sync

Every time I try to sync my calendar in my phone, I get a message that says "Unfortunately Google Calendar has stopped working" and it does not sync up. What do I need to do to get it to work?

I am running unrooted and completely stock.

Try using the Google Calendar on the Play Store, it's different than the stock Calendar app. That fixed a different problem for me but may help with yours as well.

Thank you, that seemed to help. I just don't understand why Google does not work with the stock app, since it is a Google product as well.

Try using "acalendar" app. at the play store. It's a better calendar app and its free and syncs with google calendar.
