Google Calendar to Droid Eris Sync

Why don't events I create on my Google Calendar via a computer show up quickly on the Eris' calendar? I've been waiting about an hour now and they're still not there.
 
Mine generally show up in a minute or two. Not sure why they take so long. You can go into your phone and manually sync it with your calendar and it will show up immediately. Settings>data sync>Google>Calendar
 
Okay, the manual sync worked, but for some reason it hadn't synced for 2 hours even though I have auto-sync on.

I wonder why. :(
